Chocolate has its fans and even its "addicts". More and more it is being recognised for its health beneficial properties as a "Super Food" - including its high anti-oxidant activity. Dark chocolate is also being more accepted for its distinctive taste. The link between cocoa and chocolate is not that strong however in many peoples minds. But there is no chocolate without cocoa.

The consumption of cocoa end products and derivatives is increasing at a rapid rate. Chocolate is being segmented as a food product with the tasters approach being compared to that of wine connaisseurs. This is all good news for the cocoa grower especially those who grow FINE COCOA across the Caribbean.
